Recommendations:

1. Ideal energy dense supplement for early lactating and advanced pregnant animals to overcome negative energy balance.
2. Enhances peak milk production and persistency of lactation.
3. Fulfils the nutrient requirements of high yielding animals.
4. Reproductive performance can be enhanced because the animal can return to positive energy balance sooner which can affect follicle size, ovum fertility and progesterone levels.

Recommendation for Useage SM-Fat:

Crossbred cows : 100-150 gm per day.

Buffaloes: 150-200 gm per day.

Bypass fat can also be incorporated in the feed of growing calves Fattning and lactating animals @1.5-2%, for increasing energy density of the feed.

Miscellaneous:

Side effect : No side is found in the use of SM Fat and is well tolerated by poultry birds.
